Where does Build Colony build?
Build Colony is based in Baton Rouge, but the right project can take us beyond it. We've built homes in Lafayette, Mandeville, New Orleans, and communities throughout South Louisiana. If you have a project outside the Baton Rouge area, we'd be happy to talk.
How much do you charge per square foot?
Because every Build Colony home is custom, we don't price projects by a fixed cost per square foot. Size, design, complexity, materials, finishes, and the level of customization all play a role in the final cost.

When we're involved early, we can work with you and your design team to understand your budget, priorities, and overall goals. From there, we can help guide decisions as the plans take shape and keep the design aligned with the investment you want to make.
Does Build Colony build fully custom homes?
Yes. Build Colony specializes in custom residential construction, working through the planning, construction, selections, and details that bring each project together.
Does Build Colony handle renovations?
Yes. Build Colony handles renovations of all sizes and approaches each one with the same construction management and attention to detail as new construction.
When should I contact a builder?
The sooner, the better. We like to be involved before design begins so we can help align the plans with your budget from the start. Our most successful projects are often the ones we're part of from the very beginning, but we're happy to step in at any stage of planning.
Can Build Colony work with my architect or designer?
Absolutely. If you already have an architect or designer involved, we'll work alongside them to bring the design and construction process together in a practical, collaborative way.
